A FUN, SAFE & NURTURING ENVIRONMENT

Our Preschool program is a Christ-centered and play-based, environment with low ratios, complete with a variety of learning opportunities that encourage children to explore and understand our world. We partner with parents in teaching Jesus’ love for each child and preparing them for future school experiences by providing a positive atmosphere for academic, social, and developmental growth. The curriculum provides a mix of learning through play, observation and exploration to help provide a smooth transition for your child into their upcoming classroom.

GOALS & OBJECTIVES

Seeing our students develop and grow throughout our Preschool program is one of our biggest joys. In order to encourage this progress, we pursue the following goals:

Physical Development: Provide an environment that fosters growth in gross and fine motor development at developmentally age-appropriate levels for each child.
Intellectual Development: Provide an environment that fosters growth in language, math, science, sensorial skills at developmentally age-appropriate levels for each child.
Social/Emotional Development: Provide an opportunity for each child to develop a positive self-image and positive growth in relationships with peers, adults, and the environment.

WHO CAN ATTEND

Our Pre-K program serves members of Immanuel Lutheran Church as well as children throughout the Plainview community. Children must be 3 years of age on or before September 1st to enroll in the 2 or 3 day Pre-K program, and 4 years of age to enroll in the 5 day program.

SESSIONS

We offer flexible programming with a two-, three- or five-day option for a child to attend.

Morning 5 days a week: Pre-K begins at 8:00 am and dismisses at 11:00 am.
Afternoon Monday, Wednesday, Friday : Pre-K begins at Noon and dismisses at 2:55 pm.
Extended Care: Extended Care is offered to Pre-K students from 6:00 to 8:00 a.m. before the morning session. There is no Extended Care option in the afternoon for Pre-K students at this time. Please see our Extended Care page for further details and the rates for care.
